Today is the day the files on John F. Kennedy

Twenty-nine years after U.S. President John F. Kennedy, the 1992 JFK's Collection Act, was approved, asking the government to reveal all American government records about Kennedy's murder within 25 years. The deadline is October 26th [...]
Walter Jones, a U.S. Congressman who has served since 1994 and is commonly viewed as a moderate republic with sympathy for liberals. It has defended transparency in the government, especially through the release of the remaining files as mysterious killings, reports “Sputnik International” Transmission Periscope.
I was young at college when President Kennedy was killed,” said Jones told Kiriacou.
“I think that any information is owned by the people of America,” he said.
“Kiriacou” asked the Congressman which forces in the US government are against releasing the remaining files.
I think there are mostly agencies such as CIA,” Jones added.
If they're afraid of the truth, they probably shouldn't be where they are. The American people have the right to tell the truth. This is one of those tragedies, like Pearl Harbor. But the murder of John Kennedy changed this nation's direction. Whoever doesn't want the American people to know the truth, then they have something to hide”, he said among other things.
“There have been former CIA officials who have argued that files on the murder of former President Kennedy should be kept hidden, as the names of CIA officers who are still alive or who have abandoned the agency and have returned as contractors” can be made public, said Kiriacou journalist of “Sputnik Radio”.
I think this is ridiculous,” replied Jones. “Most of those people you just described, I'll imagine they're in the '70s and '80s. Most of them are retired, most of them are in the homes of elders. But killing a president, the American people need to know the truth”.
Jones added some praise to US President Donald Trump, who has declared his intention to release all remaining files for the public Thursday.
This is about American people. I have publicly said that if Trump, the president of the United States, did this to the American people, he would be a hero. ”
Kiriakou asked about the role of James Agleton, chief of the <x0-legitar” CIA Counter-intelligence from 1954 to 1975, who interviewed KGB's spy Yuri Nosenko about the alleged Soviet involvement in the Kennedy assassination.
Nosenko claimed that Oswald lived for a while in the Soviet Union and was monitored by the KGB at the time a claim that had never been verified.
Jones agreed. I've always wondered how Lee Harvey Ossald (the killer of former President Kennedy) was able to travel. You don't travel for free, it costs money to move from side to side. Any information that comes out to explain if there's been cooperation with outsiders, the American people have to know”./Periscopi/
