According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this is the most important “meeting at the Italian Presidency of the Contact Group for Co-operation with Mediterranean Partners”, where it will be held in Palermo on 23-25 October.
The main issue of this year's conference will be the flow of migrants and refugees across the Mediterranean and security issues they bring, the statement quoted by the government's website, and added that “in this sense, Dacic's participation has a particular significance for our country, given the Government of the Republic of Serbia's commitment to overcoming refugee crisis challenges and”.
Dacic to participate in a plenary session of O Mediterranean Conference The OSCE, a high-level political segment that will be opened by Italian Foreign Minister Angelo Alfano and OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger.
This year's Mediterranean Conference in Palermo is also an opportunity for the realisation of numerous bilateral meetings.
