When Brett Greenhill, 39, was paralyzed in a swimming accident during his graduation party on December 2, 2016, he tried to get his fiancée away.
But nine months later, the couple were crowned on September 9th before the 100 closest members of their family in Atlanta, U.S.A.
The couple's marriage was scheduled for February of this year, but after the disaster at their Florida graduation party, plans changed, the Express newspaper broadcast.
Brett was playing soccer with his friends on the beach when he decided to go swimming.
Meg noticed he was standing on the water and went to check on him. A few seconds later, he heard screams.
Brett was quickly taken to the hospital, where doctors told him he had destroyed part of his beads, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down.
The couple had already sent invitations to their wedding in February when the tragedy occurred. Brett tried to get his fiancée away from himself, saying: “This isn't what you're about to be about”
Meg would not leave it and the couple needed each other spiritually, physically and emotionally.
The couple postponed their wedding for September and could not get better.
