Bekim Haxhiu speaks of Albin Kurti after failing today's session

The court hearing against four Kosovo Assembly deputies from the Vetevendosje ranks -- Albin Kurti, Donika Cadaj-Bujupi, Albulen Haxhiu and Faton Topalli, who are accused of tear gas thrown in the Assembly on 16 December 2015, has been postponed for November 22nd. This was not because even at this session [...]
That's because even at this hearing, Albin Kurti and Donika Kaday-Bujupi were not tried. Due to the lack of these two indictees, Judge Becir Kaluldra decided to repeat the ordinance for their forced court behaviour by the Kosovo Police, Blic.com newspaper reports.
Present at this court hearing were witnesses and the injured, Kosovo Assembly deputies from PDK ranks Blerta Deliu-Kodra and Flora Brovina, as well as Bekim Haxhiu.
Following the failure of this court hearing, MP Haxhiu, who has been selected as a case witness by the State Prosecutor, has been declared for “Gazeta Blic”. He has expressed surprise at the failure of indictees Kurti and Qadaj-Bujupi, saying it is the very ones who have publicly shown that they have shed tear gas because of their political cause.
“We're responding to the invitation as witnesses even though I believe that both the court and the accused are all clear, a criminal act they've admitted to doing it publicly because of their cause, so now it's a kind of meaningless form of trying to challenge the prosecution and justice for a cause that they've voluntarily advanced. It's no sense of behavior they're doing, they're dealing with such a cause and they have to come and say it in court.”, Haxhiu said.
On the other hand, he has confirmed that they will again participate in the trial hearing against four VV deputies, which is scheduled to be held November 22nd at 9:00am.
“We are obliged and obligated to be present under the law. The prosecution has already seen that we are witnesses to this process and of course we are going to participate, so why all those tear gas hearings has seen the whole world and there's nothing to say about, a cause that Albin Kurt is leaving today, now does Kurti change his cause or he has to come to the session himself and tell you”, he declared.
At the last session, which was held on 13 September, MP Flora Brovina also missed, to which the ordinance for forced behaviour was also issued.
The prosecution claims Deliu, Brovina and Haxhiu have suffered slight bodily injuries from tear gas activated in the Parliament by Vetevendosje colleagues.
Vetevendosje's four deputies are accused of using the weapon or dangerous means and obstructing the official person in carrying out the official task.
Albin Kurti has also missed other hearings of this trial, while Judge Becir Kaluldra has issued a warrant for arrest, which he had suspended at the time of the elections because Kurti was a candidate for Vetevendosje prime minister.
Kurt last night has stayed in Albania, where he had gone to watch the match between Albanian nationals and Italy, which was held at Shkodra city stadium “Loro Borichi”
