State police in Albania have reported that a recent increase in the number of frauds committed via the internet has been found.
This is why State Police informs citizens to be careful about exposure of their banking data to daily living environments, but also when they receive various requests during their period of surfing the Internet.
We're informing citizens and private subjects that from the specialised structures of the State Police for the Investigation of Computer Crimes, all measures are being taken to prevent similar cases, but also the identity and crackdown of authors on the case. Given the fact that these events are aimed at stealing bank account funds through fraud, we ask citizens and private subjects to take care of the exposure of their banking data to daily living environments, but even when they receive various requests during their period of surfing the Internet.
If you receive payment requirements in different bank accounts than you usually do, you need to verify in advance by other means of communication (phone, fax, etc.) if the new account really belongs to your business partner. Also, caution should be made with the delivery of access codes for their social network accounts, e-mails, and any other software that allows access through security codes.
We let citizens and private subjects know that the State Police are available to them and to any uncertainty or suspicion to head to its structures. Hoping that we will find full support on the part of citizens, but even private subjects, we suggest not to neglect any suspected or recorded case on their part, moving quickly near our <x0 structures.
