Reagon PDK: With the new postponement, Special Court deepened injustice against former KLA leaders

The Democratic Party of Kosovo through a communiqué sent to the media has said this postponement is another unwarranted stallion that violates trust in justice and burdens unjustly on former KLA leaders, their families and Kosovo citizens.
She has called for the outcome of this multi-year-old injustice, stressing that she expects justice to be put in place so that former KLA leaders can return to Kosovo free, near the country's families and citizens.
PDK's full communication:
Pristina, July 1st, 2026, Democratic Party of Kosovo expresses its indignation over the rotating postponement of the conviction declaration in the case against former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders. After nearly six years of detention and a several-year trial process, it is no longer a procedural delay, but an unwarranted foot-dragging that violates trust in justice and ex-KLA leaders, their families and Kosovo citizens.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo considers any procrastination unacceptable and requires the bias to be based solely on law, on proven evidence during the judicial process and on the highest standards of justice, moving away from any unfounded claim that has been filed during this process.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo reiterated that the Kosovo Liberation Army's war was a fair and liberation war, conducted for the freedom of the people of Kosovo and supported by the democratic world. This historical truth cannot be undone by any judicial process, nor can it be related by constant procrastination.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo wants the outcome of this multi-year injustice and expects justice to be put in place so that former KLA leaders can return to Kosovo free, near the country's families and citizens.
