US-Iran indirect talks in Doha mark “positive progress”

A Qatar Foreign Ministry spokesman said Wednesday that the indirectly divided meetings in Doha between American and Iranian negotiators marked “positive progress” on issues related to the memorandum of understanding and that both sides have agreed to continue discussions.
The spokesman, Majed al-Ansari, said in an X post that the next meeting would be named “as soon as possible”, following the mortal ceremonies for Iran's former supreme leader.
Mortore ceremonies are scheduled to be held from July 4th to July 9th.
