The EU's office reacts after VV deputies' posts, urges parties not to put pressure on the KDR for Serbian judges

Through a public reaction, the EU Office stressed that an independent, impartial and apolitical judiciary is fundamental to rule of law, both in the European Union and in Kosovo.

This office reaffirmed the importance of respecting the independence of justice institutions and non-intervention in their work.

The European Union's <x0) Office in Kosovo calls on all political subjects to refrain from exercising pressure on the Kosovo Judiciary Council and its members in the decision-making process. An independent, impartial and apolitical judiciary is fundamental to rule of law in both the European Union and Kosovo”, said at “X”.
