Pula appeals to citizens not to photograph the vote: Auto Stopped

Regional co-ordinator for elections Laura Pula said the State Prosecutor's Office is doing institutional work to protect the vote of citizens on the ground.
Pula said several suspected cases have been reported so far during the voting process.
“We have a case in Mamusa where two voters have attempted to vote jointly that has not been allowed, another case in Glogoc a voter has committed the criminal act of eliminating voting documents, which has already been detained for 48 hours”, she said.
In addition, she said the prosecutor's job is to protect the sovereign vote.
“As in past elections, always the role of the prosecutor is to protect the sovereign vote where there are elements that can be violated, we will not hesitate to stop every person at the moment we have enough elements that are fulfilled elements of any criminal act”, Pula said.
On the other hand, Pula pointed out the criminal acts citizens could face about the election process, while urging them not to photograph the vote.
“We have 11 criminal acts against voting rights. The price of free voter definition is when someone forces someone to vote against their own will, whether economically dependent or threatened or Canned. The provision of voter secrecy, we all know that the vote is secret, so I appeal to all citizens that when they get to the ballot boxes they don't photograph the votes, as they will automatically stop”, she said.
