ASK publishes report, average salary in Kosovo increased only 11%

Kosovo's Statistics Agency has published the report for Kosovo's “Vivel of the Salaries in Kosovo, 2025”, which reportedly has marked the gross middle salary for 11.6%.

According to this report, during the past year, the average gross salary in the country has increased to 713 euros compared to 539 in 2024, writes Reporter.net, broadcasts Periscope.


Meanwhile, the net reached 636 euros, up from 552 euros as it was in 2024, marking an increase of 15.2 %.

“In the public sector (administration), the average gross salary rose from 755 euros to 840 euros, or for 11,3 %s, while the average net salary rose from 668 euros to 744 euros, or for 11.4 %. In public enterprises, the average gross salary rose from 783 euros to 915 euros, marking growth of 16,8 %, while the average net wage rose from 685 euros to 812 euros, or for 18.5 %”, the report said.

Based on the KSF report, in the private sector, the average gross salary increased from 598 euros in 2024 to 666 euros in 2025, marking an increase of 11.4 %, while the average net wage rose from 513 euros to 596 euros, or 16.2 %.

The highest wage rate in Kosovo was the public enterprise sector, until with lower salaries was the private sector.

In 2025, economic activity with the highest average salary rate, both gross and net, was “Information and communication”, with 1,216 euros gross and 1,068 euros net. Following it are activity “Powering, Gas, Steam and Air Conference”, with 1,313 euros gross and 1,000 euros net.


On the other hand, the lowest salary level was registered in the “activity Other services”, with 425 euros gross and 387 euros net. / Periscope/
