(25 days ago)The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council has reacted to public discussion of the prosecutorial system during the election campaign, calling on political subjects and candidates to refrain from statements and rhetoric related to justice institutions.
In the Facebook response published by the Prosecutorial System, the KKP requires that political subjects and candidates not use and promote in public discourse issues involving the prosecutorial system in general and the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council in particular.
According to the KKP, instrumentising issues related to justice institutions for political or electoral purposes undermines public image and confidence in rule of law, as well as in the independent functioning of the prosecutorial system.
