Police with operational order for elections, publish numbers where you can report any illegal cases

Kosovo police, based on the country's positive laws and institutional authorisations, have drafted the operational order and made all plans related to “Early elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo”, which will be held today, on June 7th 2026.
It becomes known that through operational order, a sufficient number of police officials, mainly of public order, can be committed to police officials of various profiles, belonging to different units within the Kosovo Police, including the necessary logistical equipment, in order to provide security and the management of the election process.
The operating plan includes four phases:
Pre-election period or value preparation,
A commitment to security delivery during the election campaign,
Ensuring Security on Election Day (Z),
The period following the elections that envisions transportation under KB security, sensitive material and until the end of the process.
The first phase has already been realised, and police stress that they are currently in implementing the second phase of engagement in providing security during the election campaign to proceed according to plan with other phases, until the election process is completed.
The purpose of this operational order even in this election process is:
• Establishing a peaceful and secure climate for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as maintaining order, calming and public security in the pre-term country and following the election process.
• Lifting vigilance, securing polling stations, municipal depots, and counting results.
• The safe approach and security of all sense-of-election material from all previous destinations under the security plan until the end of the police operation, which relates to the election process.
• The initiative and prosecution of every criminal act against voting rights and the enterprise of all procedure/penal measures against anyone that conflicts with the country's positive laws regulating/sancitating illegal actions against free and democratic elections, in co-ordination and in close co-operation with the State Prosecutor according to the action plans and preliminary agreements based on law.
Police report that as well as in past planning, according to the memorandum of co-operation between the CEC, the Kosovo Police, the Prosecutor's Office and the Judiciary Council, officials have been appointed to regional directors for handling any possible cases that connect with the election process, under the authorisations of prosecutors scheduled for the case by the State Prosecutor.
Police co-ordinators with the CEC have also been appointed, as well as guidelines for police officials regarding their legal duties and responsibilities during the election process.
“As usual, we encourage all citizens to co-operate with the Kosovo Police and competent institutions, once report any illegal cases that are related to security and the electoral process, or even outside.
Report, from the fixed and mobile phone: 192 or 038 550 99, to the information address info@kosovo police.com, as well as at the nearest police stations”, the report says.
