(17 days ago)Kosovo police have detailed the accident that took place on Mitrovica Street, where footballer from Vushtrria Fatjon Bunjaku died.
Two more people have been injured, according to police in the medical examiner located in Majuna village.
The victim of last night's accident was 22.
On June 07th, 2026, about 00:55, on the National Mitrovica Street Pristina, on the road segment in the village area of Majuna, there has been a traffic accident involving a car. As a result of the accident, the driver and two passengers have suffered bodily injuries and have been sent for medical treatment. While around 7:50 p.m., from the University Clinical Hospital Service in Kosovo ( Sa SKUK) has been admitted that, despite medical personnel' efforts, the driver of the 22-year-old male victim vehicle has died as a result of injuries sustained in the” accident.
By order of the competent prosecutor, the victim's lifeless body has been sent to the Law Medicine Institute for Obligation. Regional Traffic Unit investigators are conducting investigations to clarify the circumstances and causes of the” accident, police say, broadcast Periscope.
