Hykmete Bajrami again seeks Obadiah's resignation: Internal Choices Are the Solution

She said the LDK should hold domestic elections and reflect on the election results.

The internal elections are the solution, to behave with dignity, because positions are not permanent. I have also said in January that in LDK political responsibility cannot be selective and that after a serious election outcome, there must be reflection, responsibility and internal elections. Then I demanded the chairman's resignation and I have resigned irrevocable from the post of vice president, because I believed and continued to believe that standards should be applied to all”, she wrote.

She has also mentioned the LDK's recent decision, stressing that about 45 per cent of delegates were declared in favour of the chairman's resignation.

The principle that the missing one takes responsibility for and gives away must be applied without exception. Later, the LDK held the party's seat, where the chairman put his mandate to the polls. There, about 45% of delegates were declared in favour of his resignation. That was a clear indication that the party needed deep reflection and necessary changes. But the chairman decided to continue, even with expanded competencies from that same House. Today, after another election result that left the LDK back in third place, and after the public demands of several branches for political responsibility, it becomes even clearer that the problems we identified in January have never been addressed”, she said.

Bajrami added that the LDK needs reflection and responsibility.

My position hasn't changed. The LDK needs sincere reflection, political responsibility and opening of a new chapter that restores membership and citizens' trust. LDK is much bigger than any of us!”, she wrote.
