KOMF: Children are not a tool for promoting political subjects

The Coalition of Nongovernmental Organisations for Child Protection KOMF reacted to children's involvement in election campaigns, calling on the Central Election Commission to take appropriate measures.
“against KOMF calls not to include and exploit children in election campaign activities, political subjects are continuing to include children in political activities.
KOMF risks that involvement and exploitation of children for political purposes constitutes violations of children's rights, violates their dignity and well-being, and is contrary to the principle of child's best interest.
The KOMF calls on the Central Election Commission to actively monitor the activities of political subjects and, in any case when the involvement or exploitation of children in election campaigns is found, to take relevant measures in line with the legislation in effect”, it is said in the Coalition's response of nongovernmental organisations to the protection of KOMF children./ Periscope/
