Hamza: Businesses will have fewer taxes, more support and development space

The president of the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the candidate for prime minister, Bedri Hamza, said Kosovo's economy is built on work, courage and private sector investments, stressing that businesses need a government that supports them rather than creating obstacles for them.
The work of entrepreneurs and workers is best seen when we are around them. In my government, businesses will have less taxes, grants up to 30% and more development space. Kosovo differs when supported by those working”, Hamza wrote.
He recalled that Program The PDK envisions a set of concrete measures for the private sector, including subsidies and grants covering up to 30 per cent of investments for production and innovation sectors, expanding the Credit Guarantee Fund, and creating new financial instruments for new businesses and startups.
Also, businesses with annual circulation of up to 10,000 euros will be released from the tax, while those in circulation of up to 30,000 euros will be taxed only on real profits.
According to Hamza, one of the main obstacles to businesses will be addressed through changing VAT payment mode, transferring it from the border to the moment of sale of the product, the measure that will improve liquidity, reduce financial pressure and create more favourable conditions for investment and employment.
The PDK estimates that economic development, wage growth and job opening are the safest way to end the economic crisis and restore citizens' trust in the country's future.
