CEC: Stand-by voting allowed only for specific categories of voters

The Central Election Commission has recalled that the assistance vote is only allowed for voters who, due to limited ability, cannot register or place it in the ballot box, as well as for blind voters who cannot use the Braille alphabet.
The CEC has called for voters to be informed in advance of the procedures and criteria related to this form of voting, so that the election process can be held without obstacles and in accordance with rules.
According to the announcement, citizens may be informed of who has the right to vote with assistance, how this type of vote is realised, what criteria should meet the assister, and what other forms of support are offered at the polls for those in need of assistance during the voting process.
