CEC reacts to video with the ballot box in Rahovec: There was non-sensive material

According to the CEC, actions have been taken through the Municipal Election Commissions to verify the circumstances of the event immediately.

After publishing a video on social networks of two people with one voting box, the Central Election Commission, through the Municipal Election Commissions, has taken measures to clarify this situation.

It is estimated that the event presented in the video occurred in the perimeter where the Municipal Counting Centre is located in Rahovec and the visible election material is non-sensive election material, which according to the previous procedures is distributed a day before election day.

For the circumstances of the event, there are images of security cameras located on the outside of the sports gym, images of the city's cameras, as well as the presence of the Kosovo Police at the scene, which clearly testify to the actual location and circumstances.

For the purposes of transparency and complete clarification of the situation, we are co-ordinating the photograph of the location where the video was carried out, from which it is evident that the event took place in the parking lot area where the Communist Accounting Centre is located in the municipality of Rahoveci. /Periscope
