Albanian Language in Northern Macedonia, Kosovo students protest in Pristina on Friday

After Skopje and Tirana, Pristina will also be the centre of Albanian language protection protests in northern Macedonia.
The demands of Albanian students in Skopje have come after the authorities' refusal in Northern Macedonia so the jurisdictional exam can be held in Albanian.
The Kosovo Student Parliament has announced they will protest in Pristina as well in defence of the Albanian language.
The protest will be held Friday at 2: 00 p.m. and will start before the North Macedonia Embassy in Pristina.
“We, Kosovo students, invite you to join the peaceful protest before the North Macedonian Embassy in Kosovo, to voice against the violation of the right to use the Albanian language in the jurisdictional exam and in all other state exams in Northern Macedonia.”, the report said.
According to the announcement, the Albanian language is not the privilege, but the right of hundreds of thousands of Albanians in northern Macedonia.
“We believe that education, profession and the future of young people should not be hindered by unjustly established language barriers. Therefore, we invite all students, student organizations, civil society, and citizens to join us.” says in the announcement.
