(16 days ago)“Foundation Procurory in Gjakova, the Department of War Crimes, announces public opinion that yesterday, on June 7, 2026, was reported for a murder in Gjakova.
At the State Prosecutor's decision, the victim's lifeless body has been sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) in Pristina.
The State Prosecutor has initiated the case because of the criminal act “the Vide” assassination, according to the Kosovo Republic Penal Code (KPRK).
The suspected man has been arrested with the initials I.S. And with the prosecutor's decision, the same has been banned for 48 hours.
Within the legal deadline, demand will be submitted for the appointment of the detention measure to the competent court.
The State Prosecutor in close co-operation with the Kosovo Police is taking all necessary investigative actions and collecting relevant evidence regarding this case”. / Periscope/
