The vaccine against measles does not cause autism, complications from this disease can be serious

The latest cases of measles reported in Kosovo are considered a serious public health signal, raising concerns about spreading the disease in the country.
Health authorities stress that the vaccine remains the most effective way to prevent measles and prevent its spread to the population.
The director of the Infectal Clinic, Vera Berisha-Djaj, has dismissed claims that anti-virtical vaccine is related to autism, clarifying that there is no scientific basis for such a relationship.
It has stressed that the most dangerous remains the measles ' own disease, which can cause serious complications, especially in the respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
“Vaxin contains in itself three types of MMR vaccines, against measles, against mumated and rubella. The vaccine against measles (morbilly) has no side effects here, there is nothing real, the spread of false news and dezinforms certainly affects the population, which is not well informed, or deliberately receives wrong information and does not vaccinate their children, from vaccines there is no danger, but there is danger from disease, the disease can go with a serious clinic by providing complications in the central nervous system, providing complications in the respiratory system, other cardiovascular system. So the risk is from the disease, the risk is from non-examination, and the risk is not from vaccination, but the benefit from the vaccine is too high”, Berisha-Dejaj said, for EO, broadcast Periscope.
She said the parents they talked to are willing to vaccinate their children.
We have talked to parents of all the children who have been unexplored, most of them are not willing to have vaccinated the child, but because of different health causes, or some other viral state has postponed the vaccine time, but we have also had those who not only sick children but others have not vaccinated, while talking to them, they now express readiness to vaccine other children”, Berisha-Rej said.
We remember that 10 cases of measles disease have been confirmed in Kosovo so far, of which four are being treated at the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (QKUK), based on Infectious Clinic. /Periscope/
