Trump from next week will raise EU vehicle tariffs to 25%

In a post in Truth Social, the president has criticised the EU, saying the latter is not respecting the trade agreement, reports The Guardian.

“It is my pleasure to announce that, given the fact that the European Union is not respecting the trade agreement we have fully agreed on, next week will raise the fees entrusted to the European Union for cars and trucks entering the United States. The tariff will rise to 25%. It is perfectly understandable and agreed that if they produce cars and trucks at factories in the United States, there will be no TARIFA. Many automotive and truck factories are currently under construction, with over $100 billion in investments, a record in the history of car and truck production.
