Trump says US is negotiating with Iran despite fire sharing between parties

Donald Trump has declared that the United States is continuing negotiations with Iran, despite both sides claiming to have exchanged fire in and around the Strait of Hormuz.
Speaking in Washington, the American president boasted that the US “hit hard” Iran and reiterated its earlier claim that US forces have sunk several Iranian ships.
As for peace talks, the American leader said Tehran and Washington are still negotiating, but claimed Iran is the “really at the end of the” road, writes Skynews.
“Plan is very simple. Iran can't have nuclear weapons, there can't be a nuclear bomb and it won't. They have agreed, now it remains to be seen if they are willing to sign”, he claimed.
Despite attacks on the Hormuz Strait, Trump has insisted that the ceasefire remains in force, but has warned that the US will hit “much more severely” if Iran does not sign an agreement.
Otherwise, Iran has already received a new proposal of Americans to achieve peace, which it is analyzing and will soon return.
