Trump 'are examining it more seriously' restarting combat operations against Iran

Donald Trump is looking more seriously at the resumption of major combat operations against Iran now than at any other moment in recent weeks, according to a report.
Sources told CNN that the US president has been frustrated with the way Iran is dealing with negotiations, as well as with the impact of the continuing blockade on the Strait of Hormuz, Telegrafi reports, Periscope broadcasts
Trump told reporters yesterday that a proposal from Tehran to end the war was"worthless"and"bull", adding that he had not finished reading it".
CNN quoted its sources as saying Iran's latest proposal has prompted officials to question whether Tehran is willing to take a serious negotiating position.
The network reports a rift in the Trump administration on how to move forward, with some officials arguing for a more aggressive approach and others who believe diplomacy is still the best option.
A decision on how to act is unlikely to be taken before Trump's trip to Beijing, sources said.
