Runs from Germany to Kosovo requested for “grave murder”

Kosovo Police, the Directorate for International Police Co-operation, in co-ordination and in co-operation with other relevant Kosovo Police units and justice institutions, respectively, on May 21st 2026, have made the extradition of Montenegrin citizens from Germany to Kosovo.
The suspect had been arrested by German authorities, as the same was demanded through INTERPOL with international paper alignment, released by Kosovo's justice institutions, for serious criminal acts of murder, and that the same was avoided by justice.
Extradition was realised based on laws in power and in close co-operation between institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and German.
The suspect, after the extradition, has been handed over to relevant police units for follow-up with other legal procedures.
“The Directorate for International Police Co-operation will continue with the exchange of information with local institutions, states and international organisations, with the aim of preventing, investigating and uncovering criminal activities that connect with the investigation of the perpetrators of criminal acts, as well as other activities in the investigation, apprehending persons and criminal groups operating inside and outside the country”, the statement said.
