Five persons arrested for distributing material of child sexual abuse, including minors

Police action has been held in Pec, Rahovec, Malisheva and Fushe Kosovo.

According to police, suspects via social networks have distributed banned materials related to sexual abuse of children. Two of those arrested are minors.

During the raids, police have confiscated two laptops and three mobile phones, which will be used as material evidence in the investigative procedure.

At the prosecutor's decision, after the interview, one of the suspects was sent to the detention for 48 hours, while the other four were released in regular procedure.

“ After an investigative work has been identified and arrested by five Kosovo male suspects, two of them are minors who through social networks have downloaded and distributed material containing child sexual exploitation and misuse. Figurative material evidence has been found and confiscated - two laptops and three mobile phones. At the prosecutor's decision, after the interview, one of the five suspects is sent to the detention for 48 hours while others are released in regular procedure”, the Kosovo Police report said.
