Three passengers with symptoms of hantavirus continue medical treatment

The three passengers evacuated from the MV Hondius ship earlier this week “are held under the care and review of medical professionals”, the ship's operator said.
Individuals were transferred by plane to the Netherlands on Wednesday and Thursday after showing symptoms of the hantavirus.
Among them was British Martin Ansthee, who has since been confirmed to have been infected with the virus.

The other individuals were a 41-year-old Dutch national also confirmed that he was infected with hantavirus and a 65-year-old German woman who has since moved to Germany.
