(a month ago)Following an investigation by the Founding Prosecutor in Gjilan, the Department of Criminal Affairs, in co-operation with the Directorate for Crime and Investigation (DKKO) in Gjilan, the initial suspect S has been detained. S, under suspicion of performing criminal work “Use of official position or authority”.
According to the file, the S.S., for nearly seven years, in the quality of the official for culture, youth and sports, as well as the library manager in the Kllokot municipality, has benefited over 39 thousand euros without even going to work, broadcasts Periscope.
“After well-based doubt, defendant S. S, from 2019 to the date of 02,03,2026 employed in the Klokot municipality, in the quality of the official for culture, youth, sports and manager of the Klokoti library, has deliberately misused his official duty by failing to meet the same, and has benefited the monthly salary from the Republic of Kosovo budget, despite the same not being presented to work and having exercised no work activity, the task that the contract provides, damaging the Kosovo Republic of Kosovo budget at the value of 39123.211oh1 euro) the report said.
The prosecution has indicated that the defendants have launched investigations, while within the legal deadlines will apply for the appointment of security measures at the Constitutional Court in Gjilan.
Authorities stress that the case is being handled with priority, while further investigative actions will continue in co-ordination with competent organs. / Periscope/
