For four months over 2.5 million visitors to Albania, nearly half of them from Kosovo

Albania has marked increases of foreign visitors in the first four months of this year.
For this period of time, over 2.5 million tourists have visited Albania.
This data has been made public by the Statistics Institute, according to which, in relation to the same period of time a year ago, foreign tourist entrances have expanded by 5 percent.
Of 2.5 million visitors, nearly half of them are from Kosovo, or 43.5%.
At least so far, Kosovo vacationers are not missing. I can say as in previous years, despite visa liberalisation. The rest, as has been almost”, says Jethmira Hoxha, tourist operators, reports A2 CNN.
Like last year, the list is followed by Montenegrin Italians. Significant weights in the total of tourists who have visited the country in the first four months of the year include vacationers from Northern Macedonia, Greece, England, Turkey, Serbia and Poland.
The “are essentially tourists for the first time, but there are also those who continue to be curious and visit other parts of the country. The numbers feel for us too. I can say that the year has started quite well”, says Jethmira Hoxha, tourist operators.
