Maliqi: June 7th Elections May Have Lower Turnout

Opinionist Agon Maliqi has declared that the June 7th elections could be marked by a lower voter exit, citing the decline in enthusiasm and the smaller diaspora turnout as factors that could impact the outcome.
On show “Info Magazine”, Maliqi said he does not necessarily expect a large transfer of votes from the Vetevendosje Movement to the Democratic League of Kosovo, but estimates there may be fewer voter turnout.
“Maybe we won't have a transfer of votes from VV to LDK, but there may be lower exits. It is a number of voters who have been in an excited form from the energy... of Osman and Kurti, and in this context lower exit can have an effect of”, Maliqi said.
According to him, the next factor that could affect is the date of elections, saying smaller participation could be expected even from the diaspora. /Periscope
