The LDK comes out with notice: He has launched a hybrid war with false profiles against us

The Democratic League of Kosovo has reacted with concern over what it calls a <x0 cyber-organised attack” and co-ordinated <x2 Groups of digital manipulation” to public communication of the party chairman and his call for Union Rally.
The LDK says that within a few minutes thousands of suspicious profiles and automated accounts have been inflammatoryly interfering with social networks, with the aim of HINA deformising public perception and creating a false atmosphere of rejection and polarization.
Kosovo's “Democratic League expresses its deep concern for the cyber organised attack and the coordinated digital manipulation campaign to the LDK chairman's public communication and his call for Union Rally. Within minutes, thousands of suspicious profiles and automated accounts have weighed in with synchronization on social platforms, in a clear attempt to distort public perception, artificially lower the credibility of political communication and create false atmosphere rejection of polarisation”, the party says in the communique released.
The LDK called on Kosovo citizens that “are aware that this is expected to be one of the main strategies of the upcoming election campaign: the collapse of credibility through digital manipulation, organised propaganda and hybrid interventions in public opinion”.
This is no longer a normal political race. This is an attempt to replace democratic debate with psychological and propaganda operations in digital space”, said in response.
The LDK said that “strongly condemns any such intervention and re-exerts that civic will cannot be manipulated by the army of false profiles, anonymous networks or propaganda mechanisms”.
Kosovo needs free elections, fair debate and democratic standard; not hybrid warfare against free thought and opposition political organisation”.
