KOMF requires vaculation “from door” after muse in children

The Coalition of NGOs for Child Protection (KOMF) has expressed concern about increasing child fruit cases and called for intensification of vaccines on the ground, including access “to door”.
According to the KOMF, in recent weeks there have been 10 cases of children affected by measles in Kosovo, and all confirmed cases have been unexplored.
The organization also points out that concern remains the decline in coverage with the MMR (against the measles, shyths, and rubella) in the group, which reportedly increases the risk of outbreaks of preventable vaccines.
KOMF has called on parents and legal managers to vaccinate children according to the regular immunization calendar, stressing that vaccine is a legal and essential obligation to protect children's health.
“Vaxis are the most effective tool for preventing dangerous diseases, they are scientifically and safely tested”, the KMF response said.
The organisation has also called on parents not to fall prey to disinformations and consult health professionals at the Family Medicine Centres for any uncertainty.
At the same time, KOMF has asked health institutions to intensify the identification of unexplored children and organise vaccines in the community, including home visits.
According to the KOMF, a coordinated institutional response and stronger awareness campaigns are needed to increase inoculation coverage and public health protection.
