KFOR stated Kurti's plan to form lovemarias

Power has announced that procedures for forming a particular security structure have begun. Kosovo's incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has declared that the gendarmerie will have a wide range of responsibility.
Regarding this initiative by KFOR, it has become clear that they are closely following statements from Kosovo institutions on the issue.
KFOR's response to the Express Journal says “NATO continues to co-operate with all security organisations in Kosovo and to offer its contributions to lasting security in Kosovo for the benefit of all. According to UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999, KFOR provides a secure environment for all people living in Kosovo and freedom of movement”.
In turn, KFOR stresses that “at any time, impartially and in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the EU Mission for Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX), in their respective roles as security responders. Consultative and Interconnector Team NATO (NALT) has supported the development of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), in line with its original civil defence mandate, through co-ordination of capacity building, education and training”.
“We expect that security organisations in Kosovo will continue in this co-operative approach, co-ordinating with KFOR to contribute to security in Kosovo and regional stability, for the benefit of all communities living in Kosovo”, KFOR's response to the issue concludes.
Otherwise, incumbent Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has received Deputy Assistant Secretary General for NATO Partnership Kevin Hamilton, with whom, according to the ZKM, has also been talking about Gendarmerie.
