“High interest” - IVF procedures at QKUK bring positive results

Two pregnancies have been confirmed at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo following the procedures of Associated Medical Fertilisation, so it has revealed that the director of gynecology at QKUKU, Zef Ndaj.
He, he has shown how the process is going, even talking about the challenges he has faced up to the final steps of this process.
He has even shown that there are even cases that have not been successful in private clinics and are now directed to gynecology.
Well, this process started over a year ago, a year and a half somewhere, as you know, you're informative every time. First there was the first stage where it was done, that is, completing the documentation of patients who have infertility problems. And then we had a little bit of a jam with the tenderation procedures of two hormonal preparations, which are also exceeded”.
Now we're providing with all hormonal preparations, so the process is going well. We also have confirmation of our first pregnancies. It means, well, it's good, but the cases might be that they're serious cases that they've tried a couple of times in private clinics to become interventions, they've done IVF interventions, but they haven't succeeded. Now we're treating them at our” clinic, Rudjaj said in an interview for EO.
Meanwhile, questioned how many cases have proved positive, he indicated that until now two pregnancys have been confirmed following the IVF process.
Look, positive is the procedure. The IVF is a procedure, we can't say that there are today, for example, three transfers and all three will be pregnant. Transfers are another procedure, that is, another procedure, while until confirmation of pregnancy takes a while, it takes a while. We have some transfers, over dozens of transfers, but pregnancy confirmations are in the beginning, so a couple are confirmed by now”, Ndaj said.
Rudaj said he has a very serious interest in this procedure, but it takes time to get the result.
Yeah, a lot, interest is too big. It is so large that often we are not able to accept all of this, it is becoming a slow classification, which may have to be expected until the intervention, that is, the stimulating of the ovaries and the taking of eggs cells and until the breeding and transfer of cells. So, maybe it's expected, expected a time at patient”, he said.
In the meantime, he explained that the first two attempts are free - including the intervention and hormonal precautions - but if more times is needed then there will be a cost that he feels is not too great.
We've already mentioned several times that the first two procedures -- namely, the first two attempts -- go free of charge. Even the intervention and hormonal preparamet. And if a patient needs to go through other procedures, the third, the fourth, then it will be a cost, but it is not yet the target. It will be a symbolic cost, certainly far less than in private clinics”, Ndajaj said. /EO
