Hunting disease: Greek passenger transferred by military plane to quarantine

A Greek passenger has been quarantined in Athens as a precaution after being evacuated from the tourist ship “MV Hondius”, where an explosion of hantavirus caused by several victims and dozens of suspected cases of infection was reported.
The passenger, whose identity has not been made public, is being kept in isolation at the University General Hospital “Atticon” in Athens. According to reports, at least six people on board have resulted in positive hantavirus, while three people have lost their lives since the beginning of the explosion, including a passenger on the ship. An American national evacuated has also proved positive, but remains without symptoms.
