The Greek mob killed: Four in chains, two Albanians

Greek police have arrested 4 people suspected of killing mobster Giorgos Moskouris, known as “Thalnakia”, the event in Halandri in April 2025.
The operation was held on Tuesday, May 6th, following a several-month investigation by the Department of Murders, where those arrested are charged with being the support group for perpetrators who killed 55-year-old outside a private clinic in Halandri on April 24th 2025, reports Top Channel correspondent Arthur Bibe.
According to authorities, these are two Greek nationals of Albanian origin, named Dyonys Coconi, and the other named Jupe, as well as two other Greeks named Dimitris Aleksopoulos and Alexandros Petroopoulos.
Police estimate that the four suspects had taken over the operational part of the assassination, securing weapons, vehicles, transport and support for foreign executions who arrived in Greece exclusively for execution and left shortly afterwards.

Victims
Greek police investigations are now focused on the so-called “Entic”, which is considered a key figure in the Russian-speaking mafia and is said to be located in Dubai. Police believe the order to murder Moscow relates to the dispute over cigarette smuggling control, a activity in which “Talnakias” is reportedly involved recently.
According to police, the investigation includes Janis Lalas, who had previously collaborated with the victim before their relationship ended. According to the same police sources, the Lalas brothers later contacted the “Entic” group, with authorities considering the possibility of joint involvement in the execution.
The four arrested also face charges of other organised crime cases, including an explosion in a car dealer at Nea Erythraia in August 2024, a company allegedly co-operating with Moscow. They are also accused of breaking personal data after allegedly installing a GPS device in the vehicle of a lawyer who was linked to a imprisoned leader of the Greek mafia. Police also found surveillance cameras near her home, which reinforces allegations that another assassination attack was being planned.

Despite the arrests, the real perpetrators of the execution remain at large. Authorities are demanding at least two foreign authors, who reportedly acted with absolute professionalism.
The manner of the attack had initially aroused doubts about the Russian - speaking mafia. The savagery of the attack, the use of a battle rifle and the disregard of any collateral victim were considered characteristics of similar executions attributed to the Eastern Block circles.
Police officers recall that a similar manner of action was recorded in the murders of Zamboun, Roumpetis, Mouzakitis and Skaftouros, cases also attributed to rival groups of Greek mafia.
The assassination of George Moskouris occurred on April 24, 2025, outside a private clinic in Halandri. The authors had set an ambush and set fire to tinnikovs as the victim headed toward his vehicle.
The 55-year-old fell dead on the sidewalk from gunfire, while the authors escaped in a vehicle that was later found burned in Patama, Halandri. The car had been stolen from a female owner who had not yet had time to denouncing theft to authorities. /Top Channel
