Erdogan: Rejecting the Spread of the US-Iran Conflict

Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan said Ankara does not want the conflict between the United States and Iran to spread further across the region.
According to Turkey's Communication Directorate, Erdogan made these comments during a meeting in Istanbul with Masur Barzani, prime minister of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (KRG).
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments in the region.
Erdogan expressed concern over attacks on Iraqi territory, including Erbili, amid continuing conflict The US-Iran said Turkey opposes expanding the conflict in other countries of the region.
He also said Turkey would continue its solidarity with the Government of the Republic of Kurds Government (KRG) over the current period, Telegrafi reports, broadcast Periscope.
Stressing the importance of stability in Iraq for the wider region, Erdogan said the quick formation of Iraq's central government would support the country's unity and cohesion.
