A deadline for statements in the CEC expires, which parties will participate in the elections

At midnight, the deadline for political parties registered in Kosovo has expired to announce the CEC regarding participation or non-participation in the upcoming elections, as well as for the declaration of pre-election coalitions.
According to the latest data updated by the Central Election Commission (KQZ) last night until 21:30, announcements were accepted of voter turnout by 22 political parties, reports of non-participation by 8 political parties, as well as two reports of forming coalitions, made up of five political parties.
According to CEC data, political parties that until last night have announced participation in the elections are:

Democratic League of Kosovo

Democratic Kosovo Türrk Partis
Nova Democraticska Stranka
New Democratic Initiative of Kosovo

Meanwhile, political parties that have announced no participation in elections are:
Democratic Unity Party
Kosovo National Ball
Vatra Civic Movement
Union for Change Anamorawa
Justice Party
Srpski Narodni Pokret
Democratic Reform Party
New Kosovo coalition.
As far as coalitions are concerned, the CEC has accepted the announcement of the formation of two coalitions:
Democraticska Stranka Bošnjaka and Democraticska Stranka Vatan (Koalija V WHICH;
The Ashkalije Party for Integration, the Democratic Party of the Ashkali of Kosovo and the Movement for Co-operation (United Ashkali).
Among the major political parties that have not officially announced participation in the elections until 9:30 last night is the Vetevendosje Movement.
The CEC has clarified that the announcement of participation or non-participation in the elections and the declaration of coalitions is the process shared by the application for certificate of new political subjects and the surrender of candidate lists for MPs.
The deadline for application of new political subjects -- including coalitions, civic initiatives and independent candidates -- has started on May 2nd and will be completed 10th. Meanwhile, the surrender of candidate lists for MPs has started on 2 May and will last until 12 May 2026. /Periscope
