CEC appoints about 14,000 members for regular, conditional and diplomatic locations

Following the 59th meeting, the Central Election Commission made separate decisions on the appointment of members of electoral troops who will be engaged during various phases in early elections for the Kosovo Assembly, both inside and abroad, on June 6th and 7th 2026.
Initially, the CEC made the decision to appoint members of regular and conditional Local Councils, which will be engaged on the day of early elections for the Kosovo Assembly, on June 7th 2026.
According to the CEC's decision, in 2,498 polling stations (911 polling Centre) will be conducted 12,678 members, 1,043 of whom are reserve members. At the next meeting, the appointment of some 700 members for engagement at regular locations is also planned in various municipalities in the country. Meanwhile, at 52 polling positions on parole (38) The polling centre will engage 192 members.
Members of the KEC-appointed Local Councils represent the participating subjects in the election and will be responsible for trade and management of the election process at the polls.
Similarly, the CEC made the decision to appoint members of the Local Councils to diplomatic representations, which will be engaged in the voting process that will take place on June 6th 2026. According to the CEC's decision, at 47 locations that will open under 30 diplomatic representatives (17 embassies and 13 consulates) deployed in 18 different states of the world, around 200 members will be engaged, representing different political subjects.
Regarding voting abroad, the CEC made a decision on appointing managers, assisting officials and reserve staff at the polling centres on diplomatic representation, as well as authorising officials to withdraw mail shipments from mailboxes that belong to the post office vote in early elections for the Kosovo Assembly. /Periscope
