Britain, France to host summit of defence ministers for Hormuz Strait

Great Britain and France will host a meeting of defence ministers tomorrow from more than 40 countries on plans to protect shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
Great Britain's Defence Secretary, John Healey, and his French counterpart, Catherine Vautrin, will co-chair the meeting, where partners are expected to discuss military plans to restore traffic through the Strait once the war is over, writes Sky NewsKlankosova broadcast.tv.
Sea transport through the main waterway remains paralyzed, while the United States and Iran again reject each other's proposals to end the conflict.
The Great Britain is leading this multinational defence mission because trade, energy and economic security for people working here in the country depend on it”, Healey said.
We are turning the diplomatic agreement into practical military plans to restore confidence in shipping through the Strait of Hormuz”.
