Alarms Petritsch: Next elections have dramatically lost confidence in Kosovo

Former Austrian diplomat Wolfgang Petritsch in an interview for Radio Free Europe has said holding successive elections has caused a major loss of confidence in Kosovo.

According to him, even Kosovo's non-recognising countries, seeing the political situation in Kosovo, can strengthen their stance not to accept Kosovo's independence.

Whatever we know was a year and a half of a stable government. They can't choose president. It is a dramatic loss of confidence that Kosovo is trying and being a serious state”, Petritsch has said.

He has said that citizens should seek work from the party leading with the country's institutions.

I don't want it to get involved in domestic policy and schow the next elections will take place, but citizens should say the dominant party and its leader that it's time to act, do something”, he added. /Periscopi/
