67-year-old Kosovo arrested after attempting to deceive Swiss elderly

The event occurred last Wednesday around noon, when a 68-year-old woman accepted a phone call from a person who proved false as state prosecutor.

The fraud claimed that the old girl had caused a traffic accident and that to prevent her imprisonment, a bailout of several tens of thousands of francs was urgently paid.

The elderly woman reacted fairly and immediately announced the police through the emergency number.

Thanks to this rapid signal, police officials arrived shortly to locate and arrest the 67-year-old from Kosovo just outside the victim's house, where he had come to get the money.

After completing the police interrogation, the suspect has been sent to the prosecutor for further proceedings, while investigations into the case are continuing. /Telegraphy/
