The retired general, who has been deputy defence minister, said the time has come for Putin “to actually start fighting”.
In a speech to Russia's Public Chamber, Baluyevsky recalled that Russia was the first to develop hypersonic weapons, reports Thracian.
He shocked that “what did we do with this? We boasted everywhere: We have weapons no one else has or will soon have. But that didn't make our country safer”.
Baluyevsky accused Putin of failing to react to concrete Ukrainian attacks, such as the one fearing a building in the Kremlin in 2023 or attacks on Russian early warning planes (AWACS).

According to him, the current lack of response and strategy can have serious consequences, implying that if the situation continues this way, Russia's very existence is at risk. /Telegrapher
