According to this source, among the 29 people who lost their lives (23 passengers and 6 crew members) was Lieutenant General Alexander Atroschenko, commander of the North Navy's Joint Air Force Air Force Corps and former commander of the 45th Air Force and Air Defense Army.
In addition, six officers from the Northern Navy headquarters were killed.
The event took place about 6:00 p.m. on March 31, when the plane crashed over the territory of occupied Crime.
