40th protest day, mobilization on 11 July

The protest of activists and citizens in Tirana entered this Thursday on its 40th day. As in previous days, participants gathered around 7:30 in “Square Skenderbej”, from which followed the protest with calls against the government.
During the gathering, protesters cheered: “You came to an end”, “New Albania”, “Edi Rama or traitor, don't bargain with Albania”, “Edi Rama waits for the people to come”, “Rama resigns” and “Albania seeks revolution”.
Then they marched to “Witnesses of the Nation”, where they stood in front of the Prime Minister's building. There came speeches and calls against the government, while the main demand of protesters remained the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the current government.
During the rally, activist Arben Kola called for participation in the protest warned on July 11th, declaring:
The “on 11 will be a huge protest, and citizens will make a major boycott of outgoing Prime Minister Edi Rama and Canye West. ”
After completing the talks before the prime minister, protesters followed the march on the streets of the capital. According to organisers, the protests are expected to last until just before midnight, while they have warned a wider national mobilization in the July 11th protest.
