According to the announcement, it is about a male patient who for about 10 months held a bullet left in the lower left lung lobe.
“Thanks to the commitment and professionalism of the medical team, the foreign body has been removed through a modern and minimal invasive intervention. The operation was conducted using the contemporary V method ATS-Uniportal, which enables intervention without large surgical openings, reducing the risk of complications and significantly accelerating the recovery process”, the QKUK report said.
According to doctors, intervention has proved to be fully successful, maintaining lung function and avoiding any possible complications.
The patient is currently in good health and is continuing recovery after surgery”, said the announcement further. The case is considered another testimony to the advancement of domestic health services and the dedication of medical staff to apply more modern techniques in treating patients.
