Among the “slogans I study Albanian fal KLA”, “Per The NLA, with the KLA” of “and the hands of the KLA”, students intended to hear their voice.
Student representative Ardit Bobbi calls the fact that students today are protecting the Kosovo Liberation Army from Albanians shy.
But, he added, Kosovo's history is not distorted and the country's dignity is not affected.
It is shameful to think of who we are protecting from, not protecting it from Serbs, but protecting it from Albanians. Today, we are not gathered here only in a city square today, and we are gathered at a point where the conscience of a society is tested because there are times in history when a people must decide whether to keep silent in the face of war or to stand up for the truth. We today have chosen not to be silent because history is not just a memory of history is the foundation upon which a state stands, and when that foundation begins to waver from the inaccuracies of forgetting then not only the past is threatened but the whole future. We're not here to make noise, but we're here because our conscience doesn't allow us to remain silent... Kosovo's history is not distorted and the truth is not relatable to memory, Kosovo's dignity is not affected”, he said.
In front of students and citizens, the university Rector “Haxhi Zeka”, Armand Krasniqi, who called this protest unusual response and the signal this university is forming individuals who are not indifferent to social developments.
According to him, legislative institutions are obliged to create legal frameworks that protect social identity.
This is not a common event that needs to be understood is evidence that the university is fulfilling one of its most essential functions to form individuals who are not indifferent to social developments but who reflect and act responsibly. What is happening here today is not a common public reaction is a moment that requires a balanced and prudent approach that requires freedom of expression, but also sets it free in the face of responsibility it carries, an approach that the debate acknowledges unless it accepts the deformities of the fundamental values that our society is on... In this sense the role of legislative institutions becomes necessary because they have the obligation to create a framework that protects social dignity without violating democratic principles”, he said.
As a proper move this activity was named and student Armend Mustafaj, who for Kosovo Preress, said history must be protected.
Two days ago, a person was sent back to Pec, after threatening and insulting the Haradinaj family.
