Kosovo police have already been authorised by the prosecution to investigate the case.
“State Prosecutor has authorised the Kosovo Police for undertaking all necessary investigative actions, with the aim of securing and collecting additional evidence concerning the case, including actions against ECDS officials”, it is said among other things.

Pristina prosecution authorises Police for Collecting Information About KED Diaries
Pristina, April 3rd, 2026-The Constitutional Prosecutorship in Pristina, respectively, announces the public opinion that, regarding the case of alleged irregularities in the KED's electrical accounts, there is doubt that these accountants do not measure the precise amount of spent electricity.
In this direction, criminal acts allegedly committed, according to Article 323 of the Republic of Kosovo's Penal Code.
The State Prosecutor has authorised the Kosovo Police for undertaking all necessary investigative actions, with the aim of securing and gathering additional evidence concerning the case, including actions against KED officials.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina remains committed to exercising legal competencies, guaranteeing law enforcement and protection of public interest.
