Former MUP member arrested today allegedly beat, tortured and killed 15 Albanian civilians while killing 16 others in Skenderaj

According to Kosovo's announcement, the suspect in the quality of Sévis's MUP member during the Kosovo war, as a police officer in Skenderaj, informed and armed, in March 1999, in Skenderaj, along with other members, as a group have participated in police-military operation, where they have committed the violent expulsion of civilians from their properties, have beaten, tortured, injured, and deprived of fifteen Albanian civilians, as well as 16 other civilians at two locations in Skender.
Regarding the case, the suspect has been interviewed in the presence of the investigation under authorisation and with the prosecutor's decision to decide, the 48-hour detention measure is assigned to the suspect.
Kosovo police, respectively, have arrested the Bosnian Serb National Crimes Investigation Directorate 14.04.26 in the village of Soqanica of Leposavici, male citizen of Kosovo, under suspicion of carrying out the Civil Population War Crimes Work.
The high-ranking suspect based on ongoing investigations allegedly in the quality of Serbia's MUP member during the Kosovo war period, arranged at the Skyeraj Police Station, uniformed and armed, in March 1999 at Skenderaj in co-ordination with other members, organised as a group, have taken part in the police-military operation, where they have forced the expulsion of civilians from their property, beaten, wounded, and deprived of fifteen Albanian civilians, as missing from 16 civilians in Snderaj's location.
