The Ministry of Internal Affairs has said that evaporating car windows is only allowed for those produced as such by the manufacturer, and that setting up the dark sticky letter to shade glass is prohibited.

In addition, MPB stresses that any interpretation or practice contrary to these provisions has no legal basis and violates the consistent implementation of legislation.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on citizens and all institutions to respect and implement the legal provisions in force and not to fall prey to misinformation on the issue. Any violations of these provisions will be addressed in line with legislation in force, said in response.

Posting:

The Ministry of Internal Affairs announces public opinion that the use of dark glass on vehicles is clearly regulated by Law No. 05L-123 for Automedia and Administration Guide (MPB) No. 122024 for completion and change of Administrative Guidance (MPB) No. 04/2023 for recording tools, specifically Article 7 of this instruction.

In line with legislation in force, the use of dark glass is permitted only for vehicles that are produced as such by the manufacturer. The introduction of the dark sticky letter to shade the glass is prohibited, except for the extraordinary cases allowed only by the Interior Minister's decision, following the presentation of the rational demand and supporting documentation.

To clarify this case, the Department of Internal Affairs Department, dated 24,02.26, has also submitted legal opinion that the use of dark glass is regulated exclusively by the Administrative Guide provisions No. 122024, and that these provisions are clear and binding for implementation.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs stresses that any interpretation or practice contrary to these provisions has no legal basis and violates the consistent implementation of legislation.

These regulations are aimed at increasing security in traffic, facilitating control by law enforcement, and preventing illegal activities.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on citizens and all institutions to respect and implement the legal provisions in force and not to fall prey to the related mismanagement. Any violation of these provisions will be handled in line with legislation in force.
